Hand-picked from the acclaimed Grodzisk Brewery in Grodzisk Wielkopolski, Poland, this limited-release blend captures the essence of Polish brewing heritage with its crisp fermentation and subtle notes of pear. WLP548 is perfect for creating authentic Grodziskie ales, and its remarkable ability to ferment at low temperatures opens up a world of possibilities for beer styles with unparalleled complexity and taste.

Reviving Grodziskie Yeast:
In collaboration with scientists in d and Warsaw, White Labs isolated the resilient strains found in pre-1993 bottles from the original Grodziskie yeast. Through meticulous selection, we identified two primary strains, combining them to craft the WLP548 blend. This blend brings authentic Grodziskie character with versatility across a wide range of wort strengths and temperatures, making it adaptable for various beer styles.
